What does a Celebrant do?

I'm so excited to be here today, chatting with you about all things wedding planning.

First of all, let me tell you a little about me.  I'm Danielle and I'm a fully certified marriage celebrant and I love nothing more than helping couples create a wedding ceremony that's uniquely theirs. I've seen it all, from romantic and traditional to quirky and off-the-wall, and I'm here to help you plan the ceremony of your dreams.

So, what exactly do I do as your marriage celebrant? Well, let me break it down for you:

Legal Nitty-Gritty:  I'm all about the details, and the legal requirements of getting married are no exception. I'll make sure all your paperwork is in order, check your marriage license, and ensure that both partners are of legal age and that there are no impediments to the marriage. I'll also keep a record of the wedding and register it with the proper authorities so you don't have to worry about a thing!

Custom Ceremony Creation:  This is where the fun begins! I'll work with you to create a ceremony that truly reflects your love story and values. We'll choose readings, vows, music, and any other elements that will make your ceremony special and memorable. And don't worry, I'll be there on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly so you can just focus on each other.

Pre-Wedding Planning:  Before the big day, I'll meet with you a few times to get to know you and your partner. This way, I can create a ceremony that truly represents you and your love story. And trust me, it'll be a blast getting to know you both!

Rehearsal Round-Up:  We'll have a rehearsal before the wedding so everyone knows their role and the ceremony runs smoothly. And if anything goes wrong, don't worry! I've got it covered.

Wedding Day Wonder:  On the day of the wedding, I'll arrive at the venue early to set up and make sure everything is in place. Then I'll lead the ceremony, guiding you and your partner through the exchange of vows and rings, and any other elements you've included. I'll also sign the marriage certificate, making your union official. And let me tell you, there's nothing quite like the look on a couple's face when they're officially married!

Your Personal Wedding Planner (sort of):  Finally, I'll be there to offer support and guidance throughout the planning process. Whether you need help choosing the right venue or finding the perfect music, I'll be there to offer advice and reassurance. I'm here to make your wedding planning experience as stress-free and fun as possible!

Basically, I'm here to make your wedding day unforgettable.
