As a Celebrant, I specialize in creating personalized and meaningful wedding ceremonies that reflect the unique love story between you and your partner. With years of experience as a Professional MC, writer and storyteller, I have the expertise and knowledge to guide you through the planning process and ensure that your ceremony is a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Whether you're looking for a traditional or modern ceremony, I will work with you to create a celebration that perfectly captures the essence of your relationship.
As a "Professional FUN Person" by trade, I love bringing joy and laughter to everyone I meet.
I run improv comedy in my spare time, so you can be sure I know how to keep things light and fun on your big day. And when I'm not performing, I spend my time cuddling with my two cats, Lavender and Layla, and drinking soy chai lattes.

I prepare and lodge all legal documentation including the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), Final Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage, the Marriage Certificates and Marriage Register.
Create and tailor your bespoke personalised love story and ceremony, plus full use of my resource kit which includes inspiration for personal vows, gorgeous rituals, readings and poems (for family or other guests to read in your ceremony).
My decade of events coordination skills paired with time keep capability, means you know we’ll run to time
I deliver your ceremony to those you love the absolute most, with clear and always engaging sound waves over the mic
Use of my trusted, high quality, professional portable PA system, with wireless microphone and bluetooth to connect your tunes for before and after!
I arrive at least 30 minutes before your ceremony start time (check the sound and space making sure it’s set) dressed appropriately for your wedding style / theme and always neatly presented.
We meet face to face with unlimited phone and email consultations for your support.
All travel costs associated with attending rehearsal & wedding ceremony (up to 80km) are included in your package
A site visit and rehearsal at your ceremony location (highly recommended! Ask my why) is included in your package

The following legal requirements are a must for a marriage conducted by a registered marriage celebrant to be considered legal in Australia:
You are required to have two witnesses at the ceremony who are at least 18 years of age to sign the certificates and register with you.
Both parties must be at least 18 years of age. (With the exception of Section 12 from The Marriage Act 1961).
You must sign a declaration to state that there are no legal impediments to the marriage, (for example, being married to someone else with no divorce finalised, the bride and groom being too closely related etc.)
A Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be lodged with your celebrant no less than one month and no earlier than 18 months before your ceremony. (With the exception of Section 42 (5) of The Marriage Act 1961 - A ‘Shortening of Time’ may be applied for under the right circumstances and must be approved by a Prescribed Authority. Ask me how.)
There are also 4 things that MUST be said during the ceremony: I must always introduce myself, the couple’s full names must be said at least once, the Monitum must be said, and the legal vows must be recited.

You must show your original (not photocopied) birth certificate, extract of birth OR Passport.
If you have been married previously, you must show your Divorce Decree Absolute or Death Certificate of your previous spouse.

I walk and talk you through what happens, so you feel like you’ve done it all before! And on your day, it’s super emotional so the better prepared you feel, the more you can let your practice run take over and know that everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing!

Yes. I work with local funeral homes for Funerals, Goodbyes and Celebrations of Life. I can also create goodbye ceremonies for ashes scatterings and anniversary ceremonies.
